About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Apparel Designer - Womenswear to join our in-house Design team in Liverpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish designs for our women's clothing range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new apparel collections for women, including tops, bottoms, dresses, and outerwear.
  • Collaborate with the Buying team to create designs, technical packs, mood boards, and packaging based on up-to-date market trends.
  • Work closely with suppliers in factories overseas to send technical specifications and brief in new projects.
  • Develop a robust understanding of garment construction, print, and manufacturing processes and limitations.
  • Utilize CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) to create designs and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Apparel Designer - Womenswear in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, print, and manufacturing processes and limitations.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
