We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy interventions and develop leadership skills through supervision of Assistant Psychologists and Clinical Associates in Psychology or junior colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of leadership skills through consultation, training, and liaison with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Work closely with colleagues to provide specialist psychological/therapeutic assessments and develop plans for the formal psychological treatment and management of clients' problems.
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the formulation and implementation of plans for the formal psychological treatment and management of clients' problems.
- Develop skills in professional post-graduate teaching, training, and supervision.
About the Role:
This is a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist position within our Medical Psychology team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of people with complex mental health difficulties and comorbid health problems. They will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in leadership and supervision.
