Job Title: Data Center Shift Technician

Join CBRE, the global leader in real estate services, as a Data Center Shift Technician in Exeter, UK. This role involves implementing Building & Plant maintenance works, performing planned and reactive repair & maintenance tasks, and responding to BMS generated alarms and faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of data center systems.
  • Respond to BMS generated alarms and faults, and perform reactive repair & maintenance tasks as required.
  • Manage sub-contractors and read and understand sub-contractor risk assessments and method statements.
  • Undertake regular testing of Fire Alarm Systems and perform the duties of an Accompanying Safety Person.
  • Inspect and maintain air handling units and perform monthly emergency light testing.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a technical discipline.
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance experience, including knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
  • PC literacy, MS Office, and safety culture.
  • Ability to obtain MoD security clearance.
