Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Care Support Specialist, you will oversee, guide, and assist a team of caregivers to guarantee that all residents receive outstanding care and service consistently.

Your contributions will be vital in delivering care within the facility, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained across all aspects of care, including person-centered support, clinical assistance, and specialized dementia care.

Your Duties Include:

Collaborating with Registered Nurses, Clinical Care Managers, and Care Managers to facilitate care delivery, ensuring ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care. Conducting supervision, performance evaluations, and management of the care team, empowering them to reach their full potential. Ensuring that each resident receives their preferred meals or diets tailored to their individual needs. Assisting with the admission and discharge processes for residents, including managing their personal belongings and clothing. Supporting all activities within the home to promote a relationship-centered approach to care.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

Qualified with an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Possessing a minimum of 2 years of experience in a caregiving role.
