Nurse Unit Manager (RMN) Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse Unit Manager (RMN) to join our team at The Healthcare Hub. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our service users and ensuring the best use of resources necessary for quality clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care for service users
  • Deliver care and participate in the recruitment of clinical facing staff
  • Perform performance management of nursing staff as part of reflective practice
  • Formulate nurses' personal development plans
  • Lead the team on a shift-by-shift basis and work proactively with the Matron to drive forward standards of nursing practice
  • Ensure the allocation of staff is based on clinical need
  • Develop and implement quality standards across the service
  • Work with the Matron, Qualified Nurses, and Carers to monitor, challenge, and improve the quality of care
  • Participate in care home on-call service as requested

Requirements:
