About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing issues
  • Support designated senior mental health leads in each setting
  • Provide timely advice to school and college staff and parents as required
Requirements
  • Be a suitably qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner
  • Knowledge of educational environments, safeguarding issues, and capacity and consent issues
  • Experience of working with children and young people, their families, and other agencies
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
