The successful candidate will assist a 49-year-old individual living in a self-contained annex. The primary focus will be on enhancing organizational skills and reducing clutter to create a more manageable living space.
The individual has been diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder, which presents challenges in communication and organization. Therefore, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate patience and understanding while providing support.
Responsibilities- Assist in de-cluttering and organizing the living space at a comfortable pace.
- Engage in discussions about items to be removed, fostering understanding and decision-making.
- Support with selling items through car boot sales or online platforms.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Encourage and motivate the individual to maintain cleanliness and organization.

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with adults on the autism spectrum
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Hours of work: 4 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.
- Annual leave entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Background checks will be conducted prior to employment.
- References will be required from previous employers or character references.
- Probationary period of 12 weeks applies.
