Position Overview:
This is a remote opportunity.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in chemical cleaning and decontamination of large industrial equipment, particularly within the manufacturing and oil & gas sectors.
Role: Senior Project Manager for Chemical Industrial Cleaning
Slots Available: 1 x Senior Project Manager
Location: Remote with occasional travel
Travel Requirements: Approximately 25% of work will be on client sites within the UK, with occasional travel to the EU.
Base of Operations: Home-based for experienced candidates; non-experienced candidates will be based at the headquarters.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 3 days in the office.
Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years in a senior project management role related to chemical cleaning and decontamination.
Compensation: Up to £62,000 base salary plus benefits and additional bonuses for travel.
Key Skills: Expertise in chemical cleaning, decontamination processes, and experience in the oil & gas sector.
Note: This role focuses on large industrial equipment, not domestic cleaning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee cleaning and decontamination projects on client sites, primarily in the UK.
- Engage in technical and commercial discussions with clients.
- Prepare tenders, RAMS, and project schematics; review P&IDs.
- Represent the company professionally in client interactions.
- Manage and supervise cleaning operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with clients.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to project management.
- Lead a team of 6, ensuring effective project execution and team development.
