Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new residential development in the Southern Home Counties. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects and will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Manage the master build programme, including preparation of short-term programmes and progress reporting to stakeholders.
  2. Site Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, including management of subcontractors and direct labour.
  3. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures, including the production of relevant reports.
  4. Quality Control: Ensure all units are completed to the required standard prior to inspection.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Liaise regularly with external bodies, including Building Control, HSE, Utilities, and Service providers.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Circa 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally with a Residential Developer.
  2. Qualifications: CITB qualifications, including CSCS Card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work.
  3. Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience of controlling multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour.
