Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join our team at New Electronics. As a key member of our Flight Certification Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our products and their release into service across all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent airworthiness assurance activities to support design certification and qualification for development, production, and export clearance programs.
  • Collaborate with system design responsibility teams, flight operations, and external customers to agree on flight limitations.
  • Establish and produce flight certification for development and production aircraft, as well as release to service for export customers.
  • Provide independent airworthiness assurance for emergent flight safety issues affecting development aircraft, resulting in the issue of flight safety procedures to operators.
  • Support the continuous development of our flight certification and design certification processes.
  • Represent airworthiness at project meetings, including support to external customer meetings.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of aircraft avionic and mechanical systems design, aerodynamic disciplines, and design configuration control processes.
  • Experience with design certification, airworthiness processes, and aircraft operations.
  • Ability to apply analytical methods to support establishing integrated aircraft level flight limitations.
