Job Title: Solar Panel Roofer

We are seeking a skilled Solar Panel Roofer to join our team at Gaia Global Ltd. As a Solar Panel Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, replacing, and maintaining solar panels on residential property roofs and ground-mounted solar panel systems on agricultural land.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and replace solar panels on residential property roofs and ground-mounted solar panel systems on agricultural land.
  • Assess roof conditions to ensure mounting systems are suitable for solar panel installation.
  • Measure and grind existing roof tiles to allow mounting brackets to be fitted to roof structures.
  • Secure solar panels to roofs using appropriate mounting systems.
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with electricians and other team members to ensure seamless installation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of installed solar panels.
  • Provide excellent customer service when representing the company to clients, customers, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Working at height safety certificate.
  • Abrasive wheels safety certificate.
  • Proven experience as a Roofer, preferably with experience in solar panel installation.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Valid, clean UK driver's license and reliable transportation.
