As a Fitness Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in the successful operation of our gym, ensuring that our members receive the highest level of service and that our team is motivated and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Lead our in-gym service offering to drive member satisfaction scores forward.
- Team Leadership: Line manage and motivate our team of fitness trainers, ensuring they embody our company values and deliver exceptional service.
- Group Exercise: Develop and implement the group exercise timetable, upskilling the team to deliver high-quality classes.
- Commercial Performance: Drive the commercial performance of the gym, with a focus on revenue growth and member retention.
- Operations: Ensure high operational standards are maintained, including effective management of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Administration: Support the General Manager with administrative tasks, including rotas, time tracking, and security checks.
- Keyholder: Act as a keyholder for the gym, providing support in emergencies and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements
- Passion for Fitness: A genuine passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
- Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of commercial principles and the ability to drive revenue growth.
- Operational Skills: Excellent operational skills, with the ability to maintain high standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Qualifications: A Level 2 qualified Fitness Instructor or currently studying for the qualification.
