About the Role

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Category Manager to drive the growth and success of our brand's product portfolio of supplements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product innovation strategy, identifying key growth levers, and defining clear marketing positioning for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with category market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify unmet consumer needs and opportunities.
  • Partner with our New Product Development team to develop and execute a product innovation strategy aligned with our brand's overall goals.
  • Identify and prioritize key growth levers across marketing, pricing, promotion, and innovation to drive category growth.
  • Define clear marketing positioning for our products, including concept, benefits, messaging, and pricing.
  • Work closely with our channels and cross-functional teams to optimize promotion strategies.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans, including gift with purchase programs and other marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including any reformulations, packaging changes, and international adaptations.
Requirements
  • Understanding of the beauty VMS market, including consumer trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in product marketing or innovation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to develop business cases.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
