About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Psychiatric Liaison Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with mental health needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a strong background in psychiatric nursing.
  • Experience in assessing and managing patients with mental health needs in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
