Job Title: Programme Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Programme Planner to join our team at Manchester City Council. As a Programme Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our transformation portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide portfolio-wide view on interdependencies, benefits, risk, change, and quality management
  • Support and challenge programme and project managers
  • Organise and participate in transformation portfolio governance forums
  • Co-develop and deploy effective programme and project management tools

About the Role:

The Programme Planner will report to the Head of the PMO and will be key to the LCO PMOs ability to support the delivery of business change. The role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of the LCOs transformation portfolio.

What You Will Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent programme management skills, including experience in portfolio management, project management, and change management. You will also need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
