Aerospace Safety Professional

Our client, a leading main contractor in the commercial fit outs sector, is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a 15-month fixed-term contract based in Ware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all health and safety aspects of the site, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. This will involve working on a strip out and refit of an old industrial building, requiring experience with similar projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the project team to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Requirements include:
- Up-to-date SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card
- Proven experience in health and safety management, particularly in the construction industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills
