About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Streetworks Coordinator to join our team at SSE PLC. As a key member of our infrastructure coordination team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of streetworks across our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with local authorities, internal stakeholders, and other external partners to coordinate streetworks activities and minimize disruption to communities.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained to facilitate safe and timely delivery of streetworks.
  • Issue relevant information to contract partners to support reinstatement works.
  • Provide valuable insights and analysis to regional managers to inform process improvements and performance management.
  • Offer guidance and support to colleagues to ensure safe and compliant streetworks delivery.
  • Review and allocate streetworks costs to projects or recharge to third parties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of streetworks and NRSWA permitting legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and update information on multiple active sites.
  • Ability to make timely decisions in response to real-time streetworks issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including SharePoint and Excel.
