Contracts Manager Job Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts for our client, a Mechanical and Electrical specialist based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met and high-quality service delivery is maintained.
  • Develop and grow existing contracts through performance improvement and relationship management.
  • Monitor contract performance, financials, and KPIs to ensure profitability and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance.
  • Liaise with clients to address any issues or concerns and maintain strong relationships.
  • Provide accurate reports on contract performance, progress, and financials.
  • Ensure contracts adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contract management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets, tenders, and bids.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or HVAC engineering (desirable).
  • Live within commutable distance to Manchester office.
Remuneration:
  • Salary £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
  • Bonus scheme uncapped based on performance.
  • Car Allowance £6,000.
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
  • Working hours 8am - 5pm - office and sites based.
