Head of People and Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of People to join our team at Westgate Healthcare. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our HR function to support the delivery of our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the HR function across the group, working closely with the senior team and care homes to deliver business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR strategies to support the growth and development of the business, including talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law, HR policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and develop the HR team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Develop and implement processes to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention, including employee feedback and surveys.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the senior team and board on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled HR professional who has a proven track record of delivering HR strategies and initiatives that drive business growth and improvement. You will have a strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and procedures, and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to the senior team and care homes.
You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will be a collaborative and flexible team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
You will have a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and be able to provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters. You will be able to develop and implement HR strategies that support the growth and development of the business, including talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
You will be a qualified HR professional with a recognized HR qualification, such as CIPD or SHRM. You will have a strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and procedures, and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to the senior team and care homes.
You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will be a collaborative and flexible team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
