Job Title: Mental Health Nurse Team Lead Inpatients

As a Mental Health Nurse Team Lead Inpatients, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to patients in an inpatient setting. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care
  • Support and guide nursing staff in line with the NMC Code
  • Triage patient needs in accordance with standard operating procedures and national policy
  • Assess, plan, and implement care for patients within each care/treatment pathway
  • Facilitate the use of evidence-based practice to ensure effective and appropriate care
  • Carry out general nursing duties and maintain contemporaneous records
  • Support the development of integrated healthcare and act as a preceptor/mentor
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • NMC Professional Registration and current nursing practices
