About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeships Operations Manager to join our team at Spencer Apprenticeships. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our apprenticeship program, ensuring compliance with Ofsted's framework and ESFA audit readiness.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality apprenticeship programs, with a strong understanding of Ofsted and ESFA requirements. You will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues, coordinating their shared passion for delivering exceptional apprenticeship programs. This includes a coordinator for funding and compliance, an administrator, a lead Tutor Assessor, 3 further tutor assessors, and two curriculum leads (TA and EIP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a 5-year vision and delivery plan to grow our apprenticeship program within and beyond the organization.
  • Lead on the quality assurance of program delivery to ensure consistency across the team and support our ambition of a high-quality offer for all learners.
  • Oversee performance against agreed KPIs and ensure high-quality delivery of provider apprenticeship training meeting the needs of learners and developing new curriculum areas.
  • Account to the Strategic Board, our dedicated governing body for the apprenticeship provision.
  • Play a key role in achieving positive recognition with external agencies, including Ofsted, ESFA, HEE, Awarding organizations, and End Point Assessment organizations.
