Clinical Professor of Haematology and Head of Department of Haematology

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Clinical Professor of Haematology and Head of the Department of Haematology within the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, School of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a strong academic track record and a passion for haemato-oncology, stem cell transplantation, advanced therapies, or patient stratification.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for academic haematology, including research, education, and mentorship of early career clinical and non-clinical scientists.
- Pursue a state-of-the-art research programme, with a focus on haemato-oncology, stem cell transplantation, advanced therapies, or patient stratification.
- Contribute to the development of the Department of Haematology, including the design and delivery of educational programmes and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Comprehensive Cancer Centre and the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine to advance our understanding of cancer and develop innovative treatments.
