Role Overview:
As a Bid Proposal Specialist, you will play a crucial role within the Portfolio Strategy (Bid) team, tasked with developing persuasive proposals and bids in response to client inquiries and tenders. You will serve as a vital liaison internally, coordinating with various departments to manage, organize, and deliver internal responses for PQQs, bids, presentations, case studies, and other materials supporting business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of bid requirements, including associated processes.
- Act as the primary contact for all internal stakeholders throughout the tendering process.
- Coordinate the bid timeline, ensuring contributors adhere to internal deadlines.
- Draft and refine proposal content, ensuring all information is pertinent, precise, and well-structured.
- Manage multiple bids concurrently, complying with strict deadlines and submission criteria.
- Gather, assess, and manage technical contributions from subject matter experts.
- Format and proofread final bid documents for accuracy and professionalism.
- Ensure that win themes are effectively communicated within the proposal documents.
- Evaluate contract execution performance and provide insights on lessons learned to enhance future tenders.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of templates, standard materials, and marketing resources.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, with a knack for crafting persuasive and engaging proposals.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple, deadline-oriented projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 DOE, plus a 10% annual bonus.
