ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Optos, based in Dunfermline. This role is part of our growing multilingual team responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences across the European region.

This is a multi-disciplined position that requires a passion for excellence and a strong understanding of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to coordinate activities with various departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage sales and service requests, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Administer contracts and manage customer complaints and enquiries related to Optos services and products.
  • Coordinate the planning of customer equipment installations and servicing visits in collaboration with Field Service colleagues.
  • Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to drive open back orders to delivery, adhering to customer SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate customer and product records throughout the sale or rental period.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to add value at every opportunity.
  • Communicate detailed information to customers and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in an international customer service/operations or logistics environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in German and/or French language is beneficial.
  • Total commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks across various business systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative communication style.
  • Good PC skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
