About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to join our team at Sodexo Group. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team responsible for the front-line management of Hard FM services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of Hard FM services, including planned preventative maintenance programs, and respond to reactive needs of clients.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers and technicians, and manage Service Partners and suppliers to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and improve service delivery, and achieve KPI objectives for the contract organizations.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that all aspects of service outputs are delivered to comply with the Operating Contract, Statutory legislation, and good working practice.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that H&S management obligations are not compromised in respect of the delivery of all Hard FM services.
  • Communication: Communicate technical issues to other maintenance staff, explain technical issues to other staff and Sodexo Management.
  • Training and Development: Ensure engineers training is up-to-date, and carry out regular toolbox talks to promote and maintain safety within the workplace.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated previous experience of management of Hard FM / Technical Services Contracts.
  • Qualifications: City and Guilds or Equivalent recognized qualification (Electrical/Mechanical), Completed recognized apprenticeship, IOSH Qualified (Preferred), BS th Edition & Competent Person, Member of appropriate professional body.
  • Skills: Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Word & Microsoft office, and use of CAFM systems and PDAs. Ability to influence change where required, along with customer facing attitude and excellent team building / people management skills.
