What Are We Seeking?

Due to ongoing sustainable expansion, our Water Technologies division is in search of a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to become part of our well-established in-house Design team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of projects, from initial scoping and detailed design to implementation, ensuring adherence to client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on low-carbon solutions.

Ross-Shire Engineering Limited is strategically positioned in the marketplace, with a robust pipeline of projects secured. You will engage in various projects across the region, including legacy PLC/control system upgrades, legacy MCC replacements, new water treatment facilities, and MEICA enhancements to existing infrastructures.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Engaging with clients to ascertain specific intervention needs.
  • Conducting thorough Electrical and ICA site assessments to devise innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Planning and executing projects in collaboration with our Delivery Management teams.
  • Overseeing and mentoring assigned EICA personnel.
  • Leading the creation of EICA design deliverables by you and your team.
  • Providing technical expertise on EICA issues to the broader project team and Senior Management.
  • Assisting Ross-Shire Engineering in maintaining our status as the preferred contractor for our key clients.

What Qualifications Are Required?

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Familiarity with British and European design standards.
  • A proven track record of at least 5 years as an Electrical Engineer in both design office and construction settings within the water or related process industries.
