Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Delivery Agent to join our team at Thrifty Car & Van Rental. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and collection of vehicles from various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect vehicles: Safely transport vehicles to and from various locations, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Inspect and record vehicle damage: Conduct thorough inspections to identify any pre- and post-rental damage, accurately documenting any issues using company-approved systems.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks: Conduct comprehensive safety checks on vehicles before delivery and at quality inspection stages, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Complete fuel sheets and paperwork: Accurately and clearly complete fuel sheets and any necessary paperwork, adhering to company procedures.
  • Undertake security checks and verify rental documentation: Verify rental documentation and conduct security checks as required, ensuring the integrity of our fleet and customer information.
  • Communicate effectively: Communicate accurately and appropriately with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Drive safely and maintain a clean appearance: Drive carefully and considerately, adhering to company uniform standards and maintaining a clean and smart appearance at all times.
Requirements:
  • Driving skills: Hold a full manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months, with a proven track record of careful and considerate driving behavior.
  • Flexibility: Exhibit a flexible approach to working hours, rotas, and locations, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to detail: Possess an eye for detail, particularly when conducting vehicle inspections and documenting any damage, ensuring thoroughness in vehicle safety checks, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Communication skills and customer service orientation: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers and colleagues alike.
  • Organizational skills: Efficiently manage time and tasks, ensuring timely delivery and collection of vehicles, and prioritizing safety in all aspects of the role.
