Assistant Store Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store, including managing stock, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer experience and achieve sales targets.
  • Customer Service: Ensure the highest standard of customer service is maintained at all times, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Sales and Revenue: Work with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue through effective stock management, visual merchandising, and promotional activities.
  • Recruitment and Development: Support with the recruitment and development of volunteers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising, ensuring the store looks appealing and attractive to customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercially driven, with the ability to encourage new ideas and initiatives to drive sales and revenue.
