In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including processing purchase orders and invoices, resolving queries from various stakeholders, and managing payments to carers.
Responsibilities- Adhere to established business standards and procedures while performing finance and administrative duties with strict confidentiality.
- Review and process purchase orders and invoices, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, departmental guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Effectively communicate and resolve inquiries from suppliers, service users, external agencies, organizations, and internal staff regarding financial matters.
- Process payments to and recover overpayments from a diverse range of internal carers using specialized IT software.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments on eligible carers to determine their eligibility for specific allowances.
- Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to NVQ2 or higher.
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles, including VAT.
- Exhibit experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Have practical experience in a financial setting utilizing systems such as accounts payable.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the right to work in the UK and be available to start immediately or at short notice.
