The Opportunity:

This is a full-time, open-ended position at The University of Edinburgh, requiring 40 hours per week for clinical appointments and 35 hours per week for non-clinical appointments.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A strong international reputation in research at the interface of mental illness and metabolic disorders.
  • Experience in designing and delivering clinical trials.
  • A high level of research and/or teaching experience, successfully sustained over a long period.
  • A reputation for excellence in engaging external stakeholders and the general public in research and knowledge exchange.
  • For clinical applicants: A medical qualification (MD or PhD) and extensive experience in academic research, with membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
