We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Estates Department as a Mechanical and Electrical Manager. This is a key role that will support the Operational Manager in ensuring the successful operation and maintenance of our premises and assets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our premises and assets are installed, operated, and maintained in accordance with our policies, Department of Health guidance (HTM/HBN), and industry best practice.
This role will involve working closely with the Maintenance Team and contractors to provide a high-quality service that meets the needs of our patients and staff. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that external consultants and contractors are aware of our policies, procedures, and standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical advice to staff and contractors on complex and non-routine issues related to infrastructure and plant equipment.
- Monitoring the performance of plant and equipment against commissioning data and operations manuals to ensure compliance with HTM's.
- Re-commissioning control panels in accordance with HTM's and operations manuals as part of validation and verification checks.
- Acting as the Responsible Person for Water and Ventilation.
