The Role
We are seeking an IT Cost Optimisation Manager to join our Chief Information Office team on a hybrid basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the TCO Senior business manager, managing the CIO TCO budget, financial planning, expenditure tracking, and optimisation of spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on IT spending, providing detailed analysis and insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT project managers to forecast financial needs for upcoming projects.
- Maintain the approval process of additional run-costs implemented by change projects.
- Develop budget models and conduct Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) for driven projects.
- Work with procurement, finance, portfolio leads, and Service Assurance to produce costs for tenders and ongoing costs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a financially focused, data-driven position, owning and managing large complex budgets within a large complex organisation, ideally in Financial Services. You will be commercially astute, with a demonstrable history of taking accountability for managing large, complex budgets. Additionally, you will have the ability to influence audiences outside of your direct control, coupled with good skills in relationship and stakeholder management.
