SEND Curriculum Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEND Curriculum Lead to join our team at a dynamic college. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to lead and transform the educational experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead SEND teaching and learning across the college, ensuring high-quality provision and resource use.
  • Line manage staff teaching on foundation programmes and develop the curriculum in line with college objectives.
  • Implement quality assurance and improvement processes, adhering to internal and external requirements.
  • Use data to monitor, evaluate, and plan improvements, fostering innovation and embedding equality and diversity within the curriculum.
  • Oversee curriculum timetable management and implementation, ensuring seamless delivery.
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Full teaching qualification at level 5 or above (SEND).
  • Level 4 in Management in Education.
  • Outstanding planning and delivery of teaching and learning, with experience coordinating SEND provision for young people and adults.
  • Leadership experience and knowledge of internal quality assurance processes, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and ensuring the safety of young people and adults.
