Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

About the Role

As a Pediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our clients, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each client receives the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on health and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in pediatric nursing in the last 2 years
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of pediatric nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to work with clients with complex needs and their families
