We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Smart Metering team at SSE Enterprise. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in collating and recording Guaranteed Standard failures, ensuring accurate and consistent data for our internal regulation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate and record Guaranteed Standard failures, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Own and maintain business processes that produce reliable and accurate data for OFGEM submissions.
- Champion the role, identify areas for improvement, and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
- Escalate Guaranteed Standard related issues with Metering Agents, owning escalations, identifying trends, costs, and areas for improvement.
- Approve and reject failure requests, add associated payments to customer accounts, and prepare mail merge confirmation letters.
- Ensure knowledge and training associated with Guaranteed Standards are provided to necessary personnel.
- Complete monthly invoicing of all Guaranteed Standards failures for all meter asset managers, managing any issues or queries.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with data to identify patterns and trends.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data into tangible information.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, as analysis and reporting will be used for OFGEM submissions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt delivery to the purpose, task, and target audience.
- Experience working within the Energy Industry is desirable.
