Key Responsibilities:

The Motor Insurance Pricing Strategist will contribute to the enhancement of industry-leading pricing capabilities for Motor Insurance, reporting directly to the Retail Pricing Lead. You will oversee the comprehensive pricing strategy for your channel, necessitating adaptability to evolving market dynamics and the latest technical advancements at your disposal. Collaboration with stakeholders across the Personal Lines sector will be essential to influence our strategic direction and achieve our ambitious business goals.

You will lead a team of Pricing Analysts, playing a vital role in their professional development. Encouraging your team to cultivate a diverse skill set will be paramount, as you focus on a wide array of performance indicators to implement frequent, effective, and innovative actions through a blend of data analysis, commercial insight, experience, and sound judgment.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Significant experience in Pricing is essential, preferably within the Motor or Home insurance sectors.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workloads aligned with business objectives while guiding others with an emphasis on talent development.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Competence in translating customer needs into an effective pricing strategy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.

  • Starting salary between £45,000 and £75,000 (dependent on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
