Qualifications:

Do you possess a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance? Have you previously worked on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV sector?

As a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician, you will join our Service & Workshop team at Volvo Truck and Bus Centre, ensuring repairs are conducted in accordance with Volvo's standards. At Volvo Trucks, we are pioneers in Electromobility, working with various systems, including alternative fuels such as LNG, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds, NVQ3, or equivalent qualification is essential
  • Completion of an apprenticeship in the HGV sector or equivalent experience, along with relevant experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Basic proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred, along with general computer literacy
  • A foundational understanding of vehicle technology is expected
