We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable **Canteen Kitchen Porter** to join our team at Kepak Group.

**Working hours : Monday to Friday 7am-2:30pm**

**Pay Rate: £11.44/h**

**Role Purpose**:
The Canteen Kitchen Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and canteen area, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for food preparation and service. The Porter will work closely with the kitchen staff and assist with various tasks as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensuring the cleanliness of food preparation and serving areas
- Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Taking out trash and recycling
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assisting with stock control and rotation

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is desired but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
