**Job Summary**
MRK Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary 4-month basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in processing invoices and employee expenses with SAP Concur and will be responsible for running the end-to-end accounts payable and expenses process for the group finance function of a highly successful FTSE 250 international business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review, assign, and process invoices and expenses
- Make recommendations to continuously improve across the entire accounts payable process
- New vendor setup and verification checks
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc AP supplier bank payments
- Provide user training for Concur, including inducting new starters on expenses and invoice process
- Generate and review reports
- Monthly reconciliations of employee expenses, statements, and bank accounts
- Post monthly cash transactions
- Prepare interest and intercompany bank payments
- Maintain petty cash and foreign currency floats
- Prepare intercompany invoices
**Requirements:**
- Strong Accounts Payable professional with previous experience in processing invoices and employee expenses
- Proficient in SAP Concur and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to engage and communicate effectively with every level of the organization
- Strong stakeholder management skills
