About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team at DPS Group. As a key member of our division, you will be responsible for controlling and managing all DPS activities on site, ensuring that all works are performed in accordance with specifications and relevant safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Direct and control the work of Trade Operatives & Apprentices, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  2. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management requirements.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation, including filing and availability for inspection.
  4. Plan and organize work to ensure safe and efficient execution.
  5. Conduct competence assessments and adhere to the specified timetable.
  6. Discuss work-related matters with trades operatives and contractors.
  7. Liaise with other contractors on a day-to-day basis.
  8. Update the Project Manager on contract progress and future resource requirements.
Requirements
  1. Qualification in Electrical Engineering (Degree, HND, or HNC).
  2. Time-served and fully qualified in a relevant trade (City & Guilds, MA, or equivalent).
  3. Demonstrable experience at a supervisory level.
  4. SMSTS certification.
  5. First Aid at Work certification.
  6. CSCS certification.
  7. Awareness of Health & Safety practices.
  8. Ability to manage changing priorities on site.
  9. Full UK Driving Licence.
