Prolim Global is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical problems and answer queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
  • Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze problems utilizing historical database records.
  • May route calls to product line specialists.
  • Maintain and update records and tracking databases.
  • Alert management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Requirements:

  • AA or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
  • Associates Degree and 1 year of experience.
  • A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associates Degree.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be available 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm), and 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am) with rotating weekends.
  • Mostly remote role, no set schedule to be onsite.
  • Experience supporting many applications, including MS Office products, O365, VPN apps, and many other business and engineering applications.
  • Experience doing technical support over the telephone and/or in chat.
  • Experience with troubleshooting Windows clients.
  • Experience working remotely.
