About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee picking operations to ensure compliance with company standards and targets.
  • Manage the receiving, picking, and dispatching of pallets to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management in line with company policy and procedure.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve optimal pick rates and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Identify and resolve system or facility issues affecting pick rates and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports to maintain company standards and targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Hold a current LLOP, VNA, and counterbalance license.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with warehouse management systems (Manhattan Scale).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
