Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead a team of warehouse operatives to achieve optimal pick rates and meet company targets.
- Manage stock control and inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely receipt, picking, and dispatch of pallets.
- Engage with warehouse operatives to promote best practice and address any issues affecting performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve system or facility issues affecting warehouse operations.
- Conduct performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports to maintain company standards and targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or transport environment, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Hold a current LLOP, VNA, counterbalance license.
- IT knowledge, including warehouse management systems (Manhattan Scale).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
