At Tesco, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you'll play a vital role in bringing our customers' shopping trips to life. You'll be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering products with a smile and providing top-notch customer service.
Your Responsibilities
• Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leave the back yard clean and tidy, picking up litter as you go
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process
• Load the van as required, checking for roadworthiness
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds
• Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own
• Explain to customers that they won't be charged for substitutions
• Deliver during the customer's time slot
• Call customers before arriving if early, and the store if running late
You'll Need
• Build relationships with colleagues to create a positive team spirit
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues
• Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and adapt to new situations
• Be energetic and driven to deliver exceptional results
• Share ideas with managers and colleagues on how to improve the store experience
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 3 penalty points
• Adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules
