About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Land team as a Land Graduate Programme participant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in securing the land rights required to build and maintain our transmission network.

As a Land Graduate, you will work closely with our experienced Land team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the land acquisition process, including route selection, landowner liaison, and compensation negotiations. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in land valuation, wayleave agreements, and land purchase.

Our Land team is responsible for ensuring that our transmission network is built and maintained in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner. We are committed to delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure land rights for transmission infrastructure projects
  • Work with landowners and occupiers to agree on route and site selection
  • Assess the impact of proposed infrastructure on rural land and businesses
  • Negotiate wayleave agreements and land purchase
  • Develop skills in land valuation and compensation negotiations
