Senior Test Engineer - Medical Product Lines

Company Overview

Intertek Electrical is on the lookout for a Senior Test Engineer with a focus on Medical product lines. In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting technical evaluations and granting approvals for projects associated with medical and laboratory standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant degree in a related field or equivalent higher education/experience
  • Demonstrated experience in roles such as test house, manufacturer, service engineer, or lead auditor
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and data management systems
  • Experience adhering to a Quality Management System
  • Capable of troubleshooting down to the component level
  • Desirable experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
  • Strong understanding of component-level electronics
  • Ability to interpret national and international codes and standards
  • Experience in evaluating products against relevant safety standards

Role Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the preparation, testing, reporting, and dispatching of samples. This position requires involvement in various laboratory and administrative tasks to deliver technical support efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Establishing and executing specified test programs for safety assessments
  • Evaluating technical documentation and processes
  • Generating comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Reviewing client specifications and preparing test plans and quotations
  • Providing technical assistance and participating in customer meetings
  • Ensuring evaluations comply with quality system requirements
  • Carrying out additional tasks as necessary
