About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Nursery People. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children in our nursery, adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and supervise activities that promote learning and development.
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes equality.
  • Carry out observations and assessments to track children's progress and development.
  • Participate in health, safety, and cleanliness initiatives to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Adhere to our safeguarding policy and procedures to ensure children's protection and well-being.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognized childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3.
  • Have previous experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Be familiar with the EYFS framework and its requirements.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and visitors.
