SEN Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Specialist, you will work closely with mainstream primary schools in Richmond to provide support to pupils with special educational needs.
About the Role:This is a long-term position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils who have speech and language difficulties or behavioural issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide support to pupils with special educational needs in a mainstream primary school setting
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Use Makaton, PECS, and other communication systems to support pupils with complex needs
- Support pupils with behavioural issues and develop strategies to promote positive behaviour
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure that pupils receive the best possible support
