### Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Moderator to join our team at Pearson. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments for our BTEC Tech Awards.

### Key Responsibilities

* Attend standardisation meetings to ensure you are familiar with the assessment criteria and procedures
* Moderate centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with the agreed assessment criteria and our procedures
* Maintain regular contact with your Team Leader to discuss any issues or concerns
* Ensure all Moderator marks and E9 Moderator reports are submitted on the system by specified deadlines

### Experience and Qualifications

* You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant subject, and since qualifying as a teacher
* You will have a degree or equivalent
* You will be a qualified teacher
