We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Department Manager to join our organization.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Qualifications:

Essential:
HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent experience.
NEBOSH National General Certificate or similar qualification.
CMI level 5 or equivalent (or willingness to pursue).

Desirable:
Engineering Degree (BEng or MEng).
Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM PMP).
Training in Contract Law, Finance, and Negotiation skills.
Chartered Engineer status.

Experience:

Essential:
Proven experience in team management.
Project Management experience in a similar environment.
Customer-focused and commercially aware.
Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

Desirable:
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
Experience in design processes.
Background in structural and civil engineering.
Experience in multinational teams and international projects.

Self-driven and capable of working independently.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Highly numerate and commercially savvy.
